DC/DC converter. Output voltage of the device is adjustable. Powerww0嘉泰姆

step-up applications. Automatic PFM Mode operation increases efficiency atww0嘉泰姆
light loads, further extend battery life. Switching frequency is internally set at 1.2MHz, design for use of small value surface mount inductor, input andww0嘉泰姆

Anti-ringing control circuitry reduces EMI by damping the inductance effectww0嘉泰姆

The CXSU63034 is a synchronous step-up DC-DC converter.ww0嘉泰姆
It utilizes internal MOSFET switches to achieve highww0嘉泰姆
efficiency over full load current range. It operates at aww0嘉泰姆
fixed switching frequency of 1.2MHz, and uses theww0嘉泰姆
slope compensated peak current mode pulse widthww0嘉泰姆
modulation (PWM) architecture. The device canww0嘉泰姆
operate with an input voltage below 1V and theww0嘉泰姆
minimum start-up voltage is 0.85V.ww0嘉泰姆
2) Current Mode Operation ww0嘉泰姆
The CXSU63034 is based on a slope compensated peakww0嘉泰姆
current mode PWM control topology. It operates at aww0嘉泰姆
fixed frequency of 1.2MHz. At the beginning of eachww0嘉泰姆
clock cycle, the main switch (NMOS) is turned on andww0嘉泰姆
the inductor current starts to ramp. After the maximumww0嘉泰姆
duty cycle or the sense current signal equals the errorww0嘉泰姆
amplifier output, the main switch is turned off and theww0嘉泰姆
synchronous switch (PMOS) is turned on. This controlww0嘉泰姆
topology features cycle-by-cycle current limiting whichww0嘉泰姆
can prevent the main switch from overstress and theww0嘉泰姆
external inductor from saturating.ww0嘉泰姆
3) Synchronous Rectification ww0嘉泰姆
The CXSU63034 integrates a synchronous rectifier toww0嘉泰姆
improve efficiency as well as to eliminate the need forww0嘉泰姆
an external Schottky diode. The synchronous rectifier isww0嘉泰姆
used to reduce the loss condition contributed by theww0嘉泰姆
forward voltage of an external Schottky diode. Theww0嘉泰姆
synchronous rectifier is realized by a P-channel MOSww0嘉泰姆
