General Descriptionwbj嘉泰姆

The APW7000 is a high efficiency charge pump whitewbj嘉泰姆

LED driver; the device drives up to four white LEDs withwbj嘉泰姆

regulated constant current for uniform intensity. The sup-wbj嘉泰姆

ply voltage ranges from 2.7V to 5.5V and it is optimized forwbj嘉泰姆

a Li-ion battery application. The APW7000 operates in 1x,wbj嘉泰姆

1.5x, and 2x charge pump modes and automaticallywbj嘉泰姆

switches the charge pump modes depend on the inputwbj嘉泰姆

voltage to maintain the required power for high powerwbj嘉泰姆

efficiency. The APW7000 provides up to 30mA per LED,wbj嘉泰姆

for a total of 120mA and allows several methods such aswbj嘉泰姆

a PWM signal on the CTRL0 pin for LED dimming. Threewbj嘉泰姆

control logic pins allow to disable or enable a combina-wbj嘉泰姆

tion of LEDs. The supply current is only 2mA in 2x mode,wbj嘉泰姆

and the EN pin allows the device to enter shutdown modewbj嘉泰姆

with 2µA quiescent current. The APW7000 switches atwbj嘉泰姆

1MHz frequency and only requires four 1µF ceramic ca-wbj嘉泰姆

pacitors and one resistor, and ensures low input currentwbj嘉泰姆

ripple and EMI.wbj嘉泰姆

The APW7000 is available in a 16-pin QFN package.wbj嘉泰姆
