General DescriptionG9e嘉泰姆

The APL5521 is a dual low dropout regulator withG9e嘉泰姆

output 1 with 3.3V/0.5A and output2 with 2.5V/0.3AG9e嘉泰姆

output capability. In order to obtain lower dropoutG9e嘉泰姆

voltage and faster transient response, which is criti-G9e嘉泰姆

cal for low voltage applications, the APL5221 hasG9e嘉泰姆

been optimized. The dropout voltages are guaran-G9e嘉泰姆

teed at 1.25V at 0.5A for output1 and 1.2V at 0.3AG9e嘉泰姆

for output 2. Current limit is trimmed to ensure speci-G9e嘉泰姆

fied output current and controlled short-circuit current.G9e嘉泰姆

On-chip thermal limiting provides protection againstG9e嘉泰姆

any combination of overload that would create ex-G9e嘉泰姆

cessive junction temperatures. The APL5521 regu-G9e嘉泰姆

lator comes in a SOP-8 package.G9e嘉泰姆
