The CXAC85183 is a step-up DC/DC converter specifically designed to drive white LEDs with aaUI嘉泰姆

constant current. The device can drive two, three,four, or five LEDs in series from a Li-Ion cell.aUI嘉泰姆

Series connection of the LEDs provides identical LED current resulting in uniform brightness andaUI嘉泰姆

eliminating the need for ballast resistors. The CXAC85183 switches at 1MHz, allowing the use of anyaUI嘉泰姆

tiny external components. The output capacitor can be as small as 1μF, saving space and costaUI嘉泰姆

versus alternative solutions. A low 95mV feedback voltage minimizes power loss in the current settingaUI嘉泰姆

resistor for better efficiency.aUI嘉泰姆
