               CXLB73123is a complete constant-current & constant voltage linear charger for single cellIjY嘉泰姆

lithium-ion and Lithium-Polymer batteries.  Its SOT-23 package and low external component countIjY嘉泰姆

make CXLB73123 ideally suited for portable applications.   Furthermore, the CXLB73123 isIjY嘉泰姆

specifically designed to work within USB power specification. At the same time, CXLB73123 can alsoIjY嘉泰姆

be used in the standalone lithium-ion and Lithium-polymer battery chargers.IjY嘉泰姆

No external sense resistor is needed, and no blocking diode is required due to the internalIjY嘉泰姆

MOSFET architecture.  Thermal feedback regulates the charge current to limit the dieIjY嘉泰姆

temperature during high power operation or high ambient temperature. The charge voltage is fixedIjY嘉泰姆

at 4.2V, and the charge current can be programmed externally with a single resistor. The CXLB73123IjY嘉泰姆

automatically terminates the charge cycle when the charge current drops to 1/10th the programmedIjY嘉泰姆

value after the final float voltage is reached.IjY嘉泰姆

When the input supply (wall adapter or USB supply) is removed, the CXLB73123 automaticallyIjY嘉泰姆

enters a low current stage, dropping the battery drain current to less than 2uA. The CXLB73123 canIjY嘉泰姆

be put into shutdown mode, reducing the supply current to 20uA.IjY嘉泰姆

Other features include charge current monitor, undervoltage lockout, automatic recharge and a IjY嘉泰姆

status pin to indicate charge termination and the presence of an input voltage. CXLB73123 isIjY嘉泰姆

intentionally designed to have slightly negative Tempco. This provides extra protection to LithiumIjY嘉泰姆
