The APW7208 is a current-mode and fixed frequencyW2U嘉泰姆

boost converter with an integrated N-FET to drive up to 6W2U嘉泰姆

white LEDs in series.W2U嘉泰姆

The series connection allows the LED current to be iden-W2U嘉泰姆

tical for uniform brightness. Its low on-resistance of N-W2U嘉泰姆

FET and feedback voltage reduces power loss andW2U嘉泰姆

achieves high efficiency. Fast 1MHz current-mode PWMW2U嘉泰姆

operation is available for input and output capacitors andW2U嘉泰姆

a small inductor while minimizing ripple on the inputW2U嘉泰姆

supply. The OVP pin monitors the output voltage and stopsW2U嘉泰姆

switching if exceeds the over-voltage threshold. An inter-W2U嘉泰姆

nal soft-start circuit eliminates the inrush current duringW2U嘉泰姆

start-up.W2U嘉泰姆

The APW7208 also integrates under-voltage lockout,W2U嘉泰姆

over-temperature protection and current limit circuits.W2U嘉泰姆
