The APW7208 is a current-mode and fixed frequencywHa嘉泰姆

boost converter with an integrated N-FET to drive up to 6wHa嘉泰姆

white LEDs in series.wHa嘉泰姆

The series connection allows the LED current to be iden-wHa嘉泰姆

tical for uniform brightness. Its low on-resistance of N-wHa嘉泰姆

FET and feedback voltage reduces power loss andwHa嘉泰姆

achieves high efficiency. Fast 1MHz current-mode PWMwHa嘉泰姆

operation is available for input and output capacitors andwHa嘉泰姆

a small inductor while minimizing ripple on the inputwHa嘉泰姆

supply. The OVP pin monitors the output voltage and stopswHa嘉泰姆

switching if exceeds the over-voltage threshold. An inter-wHa嘉泰姆

nal soft-start circuit eliminates the inrush current duringwHa嘉泰姆

start-up.wHa嘉泰姆

The APW7208 also integrates under-voltage lockout,wHa嘉泰姆

over-temperature protection and current limit circuits.wHa嘉泰姆
