The CXLB7386 is a complete constant-current/constant-9qT嘉泰姆

voltage linear charger for single cell lithium-ion batteries.9qT嘉泰姆

Its ThinSOT package and low external component count9qT嘉泰姆

make the CXLB7386 ideally suited for portable applications.9qT嘉泰姆

Furthermore, the CXLB7386 is specifically designed to9qT嘉泰姆

work within USB power specifications.9qT嘉泰姆

No external sense resistor is needed, and no blocking9qT嘉泰姆

diode is required due to the internal MOSFET architecture.9qT嘉泰姆

Thermal feedback regulates the charge current to limit the9qT嘉泰姆

die temperature during high power operation or high9qT嘉泰姆

ambient temperature. The charge voltage is fixed at 4.2V,9qT嘉泰姆

and the charge current can be programmed externally with9qT嘉泰姆

a single resistor. The CXLB7386 automatically terminates9qT嘉泰姆

the charge cycle when the charge current drops to 1/10th9qT嘉泰姆

the programmed value after the final float voltage is9qT嘉泰姆

reached.9qT嘉泰姆

When the input supply (wall adapter or USB supply) is9qT嘉泰姆

removed, the CXLB7386 automatically enters a low current9qT嘉泰姆

state, dropping the battery drain current to less than 2μA.9qT嘉泰姆

The CXLB7386 can be put into shutdown mode, reducing9qT嘉泰姆

the supply current to 25μA.9qT嘉泰姆

undervoltage lockout, automatic recharge and a status pin9qT嘉泰姆
