The CXLB7387X series are highly integrated single celll2y嘉泰姆

Li-Ion/Polymer battery charger IC designed for handheldl2y嘉泰姆

devices. The CXLB7387X integrates internal power FET,l2y嘉泰姆

current sensor, charge status and reverse current protectionl2y嘉泰姆

in a single monolithic devices.When AC-adapter is applied,l2y嘉泰姆

an external resistor sets the magnitude of the chargel2y嘉泰姆

current, which may be programmed up to 1A.l2y嘉泰姆

The CXLB7387X charges the battery in three phases:l2y嘉泰姆

conditioning, constant current, and constant voltage.l2y嘉泰姆

Charge is terminated based on minimum current. Anl2y嘉泰姆

internal charge timer provides a backup safety for chargel2y嘉泰姆

termination. The CXLB7387X automatically re-starts thel2y嘉泰姆

charge if the battery voltage falls below an internall2y嘉泰姆

threshold. The CXLB7387X also automatically enters sleepl2y嘉泰姆

mode when DC supplies are removed. No external sensel2y嘉泰姆

resistor or blocking diode is required for charging.l2y嘉泰姆
